Features
PX Series primary gyratory crusher is a large-scale stone crushing machine used for primary crushing of various hard ores or rocks with a large feed opening and a grooved mantle, an optimized nip angle, and self-tightening concave liners for maximized capacity, output and machine life.
Due to high reduction ratio, gyratory crusher produces smaller size of products. That puts less pressure on the transferring point of conveyor belts, which in turn leads to less material handling costs. With the special liner and structure of crushing chamber, gyratory crushers will produce more valuable, cubically shaped and less powdery products. The use of spherical bearings makes the crusher longer bearing life, lower downtime, lower maintenance.

How it works
When primary gyratory crusher is operated, the powerful motor drives the shaft. The moveable cone is doing rotary pendulum motions around the center line of the crusher. The feed material that enters the crushing chamber from the top is being continuously pressed and crushed between the moveable cone and the fixed cone as it falls by gravitation until it is discharged from the bottom of crushing chamber.
When some foreign matters that cannot be crushed go into the crushing chamber, the hydraulic system will lower the main shaft to discharge them out. It also serves as the control system to adjust the size of discharge opening of the gyratory crusher.
