How it works
When Symons cone crusher is operated, the powerful motor drives the shaft. Then the shaft will force the axle of crushing cone wings to swing and the crushing wall will move against each other. Finally, the materials will be pressed and crushed, and then drop through the discharge opening in requested sizes.
When some foreign matters those can not be crushed get into Symons cone crusher or the crusher is overloaded, the spring protecting system will increase the space of the discharging opening and foreign matters will be discharged from the crushing chamber. If foreign matters are stuck at the discharging opening, the protecting system will continue to increase the discharging opening, and then the foreign matters can be discharged out easily. Under the function of the spring, the discharging opening of the cone crusher will be automatically reset and the cone crusher will resume normal work.
