Features
PE Series jaw crushers are most commonly used as the primary crushers for making the first step of size reduction, and used to prepare the feed for the secondary crushers in a crushing and screening process. The crushers can crush all kinds of the hardest ores and rocks in the worst environment.
The jaw crushers have higher strength. The bearing pedestal adopts unitary cast steel structure. That will greatly increase the radial strength of the bearing pedestal. This jaw crusher is equipped with the wedge discharging mouth adjustment device, so that the adjustment of the discharging mouth is easier, quicker and safer than that of traditional gasket adjustment.

How it works
Jaw crushers operate according to the principle of pressure crushing. Jaw crushers are driven by a motor, and the movable jaw moves up and down via eccentric shaft. The angle between fixed jaw and movable jaw becomes smaller when the movable jaw runs down, then the feed materials are crushed into pieces. when the movable jaw runs up, that angle becomes bigger quickly. And the movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of pole and spring, then the materials drop out of the crushing chamber.
PE Series jaw crushers have two types. One is J Type which the moving jaw runs up and down. Another is F Type which the moving jaw runs not only up and down, but also left and right.
